Acer unveiled its Aspire S7 Windows 8 touchscreen Ultrabook at the Computex trade show in Taipei. This ultra thin ultrabook will be available in two different display screen size, one is in 13.3 inch and the second one is 11.6 inch display screen with an screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Acer claims that this ultrabook are “thinnest and smallest respectively, Full HD touch ultrabook” on the market. This ultrabook features an aluminium metallic coating, a backlit keyboard and can be folded flat and wall mounted.
The 13.3 inch Aspire S7 has a glossy, sculpted glass cover and it offers up to 12 hours of battery life and the 11.6 inch model offers around 9 hours of battery life. Both the model runs on WIndows 8 operating system and powered by Intel 3rd generation core i3 processors with Intel HD 4000 GPU.
Acer says that the 11.6 inch S7 is the “worlds smallest from factor ultrabook with touch”, measuring a scant 12mm thick. The amazing about Acer Aspire S7 is that both the models can be fold open to 180 degrees, making them easy to lay flat on your conference room table.
