Google unveiled its first branded tablet Google Nexus 7 which runs on the latest edition of the company’s mobile operating system Android 4.1 and it is powered by quad-core Tegra 3 processor and 12-core GPU. It has a 7 inch high definition display and 1280 x 800 pixels of screen resolution. However the tablet comes with low memory 8 GB and 16 GB models but there is also no micro SD card slot so you cannot expand the memory.
The tablet has 1.2 mega pixel front facing camera and microphone for video calling as well as NFC (Near Field Communication) technology for Android Beam, allowing contacts and content sharing by tapping device together.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and it weights only 0.75 pounds. The tablet offers 9 hours of HD video playback and 300 hours of standby time which is enough for a tablet.
